o2. the plot

olympus was built as a last-ditch attempt for a stable country by the UN. it worked. a city-state, of 10 sq. miles, it floats around the atlantic ocean, with large barriers to protect the city from the ocean. people flocked to it, and roughly 25,000 live on it. it's packed, but the buildings tower high to make up for lost space. naturally, something had to go wrong. mysterious beasts, named 'oni', after the japanese monsters from folktales. invisible to normal human eyes, they killed people and destroyed tiny bits of olympus. when the oni arrived, a man started recruiting eleven to sixteen year olds for a game. whoever got the most points in a week gets get a check, and if you make it to five checks you'll be granted any wish you want. not to mention while fighting the oni, each child receives a special power to assist in oni killing. however, if you back out of the game, you lose your power. fair enough, right? killing an oni has its benefits, too. if you kill an oni, you get a special bonus based around the oni killed. cool, right? however, carelessness can kill you, as children started to learn. few kids have gotten their wish granted, but the death rate isn't really that high. will you win "the game?"
