Friendship is magic, guys. Friendship is magical. Perry is a nice guy. I think I've said this at least a dozen times, but that is because it is true and will forever remain true. Perry. Is. Nice. Making friends should be easy then, right? I mean, he's not obnoxiously nice or anything, he's just – nice. So what's the problem here? Well, there really isn't: if you can handle constant teasing from the get go and to the end of time. When first meeting someone, he tests how far he can push them before hitting the breaking point, which he'll be mindful of and try never to hit again. When he likes you, he'll make fun of you. When you're a thorn in his side, he'll make fun of you. It's a little hard to tell when he likes you, and it's a little hard to put up with him long enough to figure it out, anyway, but it's the subtle differences that'll tell you if he hates your guts or something. Also, if you're a cool guy/gal and have earned his favor, just tell him to back off. He will. And then it will be all vanilla and nutella sweetness from there.
For this category, I guess I mostly want a bro, someone who can handle his poking fun, and maybe even give him a taste of his own medicine, but they can be all chill and play video games and kill Oni together or whatever. Friendly rivals are okay, too, and acquaintances who can put up with him and will say “hi” back when he waves are always a must.
Enemies! Well, enemies and hateships themselves are going to be a little hard to come by with this little guy. He doesn't really dislike people, is the thing. They have to be the scum of the Earth – and, even then – do something really, really terrible to him, personally, for him to hate them. This doesn't stop the rest of the population from hating him, however. Really, there are going to be people offended by his attitude, people who just think he's a jerk overall, Oni hunters with grudges for him stealing kills or something, people he won bets against or beat when gambling, et cetera, et cetera...
Here, I guess I... don't really know what I want. Maybe a character who really doesn't like him to knock him down a few pegs every once in a while, help him learn that making fun of everything and everyone isn't really the best way to treat people. The hard way, that is. Aggressive rivals is pretty cool, too, since he's super obsessive about getting this wish.
Others~! Um. Well, fellow gamblers, unite? Fellow Oni hunters, unite? I guess I... don't really know. Romance was never covered. Let's do that. Perry is a hopeless romantic if you've ever known one. Sure, he's only thirteen, but this universe is based on Madoka Magica, which means everyone is – mentally – much older than they should be, himself included. As such, he's ready to settle down and find a nice girl (or guy, he's technically bisexual) and smother her in love and gifts and care and asdkjflhdlfkjdhfdlfdshk Yeah, I really love romance plots. Just, like, shoot me anything that sounds even remotely decent to you and I'll love you too death.
Romance plots? Well, I dunno. One-sided crushes, two-sided crushes, girl/boy-next-door kinda thing. Anything works, really.
